How to Lose Weight Without Exercise

 

Shut up! There is no way to lose weight without exercise. All the weight loss pros, fitness instructors and everybody else knows weight loss is calorie in, calorie out game.

Wrong.

Weight loss is a hormone control game. The hormone is insulin.

Insulin's Role in Weight Loss

Insulin plays an important role in overall health. You can say insulin's main role is the protect your liver. Your liver is arguably one of your most important organs.

When blood sugar rises from eating carbohydrates, your pancreas releases insulin to help move that blood sugar into your muscles and thus lowering your blood sugar level. It's the golden key that unlocks the muscle cell's door lock, thus opening up the cell to receive the blood sugar (i.e., glucose) to protect the liver from having to lower blood sugar by making more fat. When blood sugar is high and your liver is doing all the work by storing it as fat, the liver can become FATTY and lead to many health complications. 

When insulin is high and working to move glucose to the muscles, it also signals to turn fat burning off. Because your body needs to lower its level of glucose first to get rid of the higher level of blood sugar it wants your body to use it as fuel instead of fat as fuel.

The problem with most Americans eating the high carbohydrate, low-fat Western diet, is their muscle cells are so full of glucose already that insulin calls out more of its backups to try and shove the glucose into an already full cell. This is insulin resistance and is called pre and type 2 diabetes.

Weight Loss and Insulin

By reversing the above process, i.e., lowing blood sugar and thus insulin, fat burning can take place. 

This is in part why weight loss is not a calorie issue. Weight loss is a hormone issue. Lower insulin and get into fat burning WITHOUT EXERCISE.

You might be asking how do you lower insulin because you want to lose weight without exercise?

Carbohydrates are the gatekeeper to insulin levels.

The lower the number of carbohydrates you eat the lower the level of insulin and the higher the level of fat burning.

Even on a calorie restricted diet, many still eat too many carbohydrates and insulin is still elevated.

Eat a low carb high-fat diet and lose weight without exercise.
